  •    Boty  Cooperative  is  a  small   cheese   producing   family   business   in Syunik Region, located 1.600-2.000 meters above the sea level. The region is famous for its agriculture and rich flora. The Alpine climate provides a good opportunity for cattle breeding. The plant has an area of 3.000 square meters. All the necessary equipment and facilities for producing high-quality Armenian cheeses are available here.

  •    In 1993, when Boty Cooperative was founded, only 200 liters of milk was processed daily. The production level has increased significantly reaching 5 tonnes of milk per day in 1997. The owner, Aida Ghazaryan, a cheese specialist, assures the high quality of traditionally made Lori and Chanakh cheeses. Boty is the only licensed cheese producing business in the Sisian region. It has 8 permanent and 4 seasonal employees, who work in the plant and stockpile fresh and pure milk from 200-250 farmers.
