Gegharkunik, left of the main Sevan highway. |

till 1935 Elenovka, named after the wife of Czar Nicholas I, was
founded in 1842 by exiled Molokans, Russian schismatics,
and the town remained all Russian till the end of the 19th
c.
One km N is the cyclopean fortress of Metsep.
