Continuing the road W is
Karmir
Agheg,
which has traces of an old fort and Aghek
church. The
road W again leads to Koghes. |
|
Across this road N, on the flank of Mt. Shekaghbyur
is Mghart,
with a 14th c. shrine.
The village and its produce belonged to Odzun monastery in the 18th
c. Beyond Mghart, the road joins up with the once-paved, now deplorable
N-S road from Odzun to Arevatsag.
