   Aghin  has  a  S.  Hakob  church   of 1878.

   Jrapi is near the Akhurian  reservoir built jointly with Turkey in late Soviet times. The water is split 50-50. Building of the dam meant the removal of Upper and Lower Jrapi, till 1947 Chirpli and Keghach. A ruined medieval bridge on the Akhurian is now under water, but an 11^th c. caravansaray was rebuilt  by
